Pornography is the most harmful form of entertainment. Porn
misuses sex as a means to lure our hearts and minds into the deepest
form of evil imaginable. It starts as a casual form of entertainment to
ease your mind from when you are stressed. Then it leads to an
everyday habit that by no means in your mind does you any harm. Then
before you know it, your suffer from Porn Addiction. Soon you start to
see the world in a different light and believe that your form of sex
addiction is simply a natural way of living, and believe that the purpose
of women (including your wife) is to satisfy the evil cravings of a porn
addict, thus leading your into other forms of the darkest evil that even
Hollywood isn't allowed to produce.
Porn Addiction doesn't stop there - it affects everyone around you.
The husband porn addict is drawn so deep into satisfying his
unquenchable lustful thirst that he fails to realize how deeply he is hurting
his wife. He takes no time to think about this, because it would take
away the purpose of the porn addiction: to steal from him his purpose,
to kill whatever life he has in him, and to destroy his marriage and all
other relationships.
Pornography addiction, sex addiction, and any other form of
addiction has come to the husband via Satan. Whether through
temptation or through deception, Satan's goal is to steal, kill and destroy
(see John 10:10). Porn addiction is just another way that he can
cripple you or your loved ones from fulfilling life's purpose. But not only
that - Satan desires to take it all from you, hurting you in every way
possible. Whether you are a wife, husband, boyfriend, girlfriend, son,
daughter, cousin, friend - Satan wants to destroy you, and He will try
everything - including pornography and sex addiction.
Fortunately, there is hope for everybody who has a problem with
pornography, and His name is Jesus Christ. Jesus came into this
world to give us life, and life to the full! (see John 10:10) What this
means is that not only can Jesus forgive us of our sins, but He can and
wants to heal us of our wounds - to restore us to what we are made to
be! Jesus never gives up on His creation. If you are still alive and
breathing while you read this, Jesus Christ is the way out of
pornography and into a life of fulfillment and joy and true happiness! If
pornography has hurt you or your loved one so badly that you cannot
see yourself recovering, look to Jesus Christ because He wants to
restore you right now! He is the only way that you will ever fully recover
your any part of your life. Please ask Jesus to come into your heart right
now and to make you new by praying this prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for me and
taking the penalty for the sins I have committed and
forgiving me. You know exactly what I am going through
at this moment. I come to You, invite you into my life,
and give my life to you, that you would be my Lord and
Savior. I pray that You will show me the way out of this
mess - whether it is addiction or pain or both. Please
heal my wounds and make me new again, restoring
me to what You meant me to be. In Jesus' name, Amen.
